Welcome to this mom of seven, Home Engineer for 28 years, wife of an electrical engineer, author, poet, lyricist, and humorists' blog! All the great adventures in my life came about by praying that I follow God step by step each day.

We can share over a cup of chai tea, your favorite coffee, maybe a pop. There's always water of which I need to keep drinking more of. I add a little lemon to my water.

I plan to share stories, poems, songs, personal notes, home organizing tips, and lots of other things you might expect mama to say.

"Writing is praying for me,' said Francis Ridley Havergal, "for I never seem to write even a verse by myself, and feel like a little child writing; you know a child would look up every sentence and say, 'And what shall I say next?' That is just what I do."

Her conviction was that God had a message for her to share and He would direct her words. If no words came to her, she accepted the silence and went on to other things.

"The Master has not put a chest of poetic gold into my possession and said, "Now use it as you like," Francis wrote to a friend, "but He keeps the gold when He will and as much as He will, and no more."

You may recognize the hymn 'Take My Life and Let It Be' loved by many written by Francis Ridley Havergal.

Take some time to look up the song, the author, and sing a verse or two. Be good for your soul... Mama Says
