Ephesians 6:10-18

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist. With the breastplate of righteousness in place. With your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions wiht all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people."

Life verse---what verse from the Bible stands out to you? Is there a favorite verse you turn to? My life verse is from 2 Peter 3:18--

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be

the glory both now and forever. Amen."

This verse has stood out to me since I was twelve years old. A prayer and a foundation for my life. A desire to continue to grow closer to Jesus. Write out your life verse or verses and place in a spot you can see and be reminded of your own starting point and foundation. The reason we are who we are and do what we do.

Maybe you have several verses that have been part of your journey and like me, you have a few years under the sun. I have these verses below that are pillar verses in my life:

What verses make up your day? Where can you turn in your Bible when things go differently than you planned? When you need guidance and peace about something, what Bible texts are your go-to?

"With every Gethsemane comes a Calvary. And under every crown is a cross."

--Warren WIersbe

"We can trust an unknown future to a known God." --Corrie ten Boom

"There are no accidents--only incidents in God's plans. God prepares you for what He has prepared for you." --Warren Wiersbe

Consider how God has used His Word, the Bible, in your life. How He has shown verses and texts to you to give you strength and courage. How His promises are tried and proven. Football player and hall of famer, Emmitt Smith said that dreams are floating around in our heads, but when we write the dreams down on paper, the dreams become goals. Growing in God's Word should be our goal. His Word enriches our relationship with Him in our daily life. Write out some Scripture today. Take His Word with you. Turn to the Text in all circumstances.

The B-I-B-L-E, yes that's the Book for me

I stand up strong

In the Word of God

the B-I-B-L-E!

"Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father (James 1:17)... read His Word and write it down! Mama says.
