Ephesians 6:14--the breastplate of righteousness

Everyday reaffirm who we are in Christ because of all He has done for us. We don't walk by sight, but we walk by faith. What is faith?

Forsaking

Trust

Him

His righteousness is given to us. We cannot muster it up on our own. We cannot be 'good enough.' There's no tipping of the scales in our favor. We cannot give what we do not have.

Ephesians 2:8-9--For by grace you have been saved through faith. That not from yourselves, but the gift of God. Not of works unless any person should boast.

Lord, You have been our Home (our dwelling place) throughout all generations. Psalm 90:1

We reaffirm to Whom we belong, and He guides us where we should be and what we should do.

We can remember that others have gone before us. They have kept the faith in all kinds of circumstances. God was with them and He is with us, too. No matter the circumstance.

Protect your heart. Give all we have to the Lord. Trust Him with who we are and where He has us. Remember we are not alone--He is always with us. He gives us all we need when we need it. No matter what happens or what someone may say--we are His and are part of His family forever.
