The Armor of God series, day 5

Ephesians 6:16-- Shield of Faith

Windshields in our cars protect us from flying objects like bugs and rocks. Shields can protect our bodies from getting hurt while doing projects or working.

In the Bible, faith is like a shield to us. Faith gives purpose to the whole armor. Fsith is protection for the rest of the armor. Unity with our God and with other believers comes by our faith. We trust in God's daily provision with our faith.

With other Christ-followers, we can stand together shield next to each shield. Our prayers can give protection for one another. We are proactive when we pick up and use our shield of faith.

"You, Lord, are a shield about me. You are my glory. You are the lifter of my head." Psalm 3:3
